THE WAY THAT WE GET ‘EM

CATEGORY: SAILING

When Bob was in Port Townsend, long-time friends of his would occasionally come from Portland to visit.  These friends had teen age children.  During these visits, Bob would take the kids sailing, often for a weekend in Friday Harbor.  This was when they went into training to learn how to become good sailors.  When they returned back to the house, their training was evident.  They knew the answers to many questions.  Bob would ask them, “What do you want for breakfast”?  They would answer in unison, “Whatever ya wanna fix.”  He would ask, “How do you want your eggs”?   They would answer in unison, “The way that we get them”!
